Built for speech therapy practices

Parents research at 10pm. Your chatbot answers them.

An AI chatbot on your speech therapy website answers general parent questions automatically — evaluation process, insurance accepted, age ranges served, telehealth availability — at any hour. So the parent who's worried about their child at 10pm leaves a name and number instead of trying the next practice tomorrow.

The most common parent questions — insurance, evaluation process, age ranges arrive after hours when no one can answer them. One chatbot answers all of them automatically, around the clock.

Why speech therapy practices lose evaluation inquiries before the first call

The parent who doesn't get an answer books somewhere else.

Parents research at 10pm — after the kids are in bed

The moment a parent finally has time to research speech therapy is the moment your office is closed. They're on your site with real questions about their child and no one to answer them. If they don't get an answer, they move to the next practice on their search results.

"Does my child need speech therapy?" is an anxiety-filled question

This isn't a casual inquiry. A parent asking this is worried about their child's development. They want a clear, reassuring answer — what delays you evaluate, what age ranges you serve, what the assessment looks like — not a voicemail and a callback tomorrow.

"Do you accept our insurance?" delays scheduling

Insurance questions are the single most common reason parents stall before booking an evaluation. If they can't get a fast answer on coverage, they either call your competitor or give up. A chatbot answers questions about which insurance plans you accept — so the parent who's ready to call stays ready.

New patient intake questions fill your admin time

Your front office fields the same questions before every intake: what to bring, what the evaluation covers, how long it takes, whether they need a referral. A chatbot answers all of it — so your admin time goes toward scheduling evaluations, not fielding first-contact Q&A.

How it works

Three steps. Fully automatic.

1

Parent lands on your site with concerns about their child

Late at night, between meetings, or during naptime — whenever they finally have a moment to research. They have general questions about what you evaluate and treat. The chatbot is there when you aren't. It should not be used to share the child's health details.

2

Chatbot explains the evaluation process, insurance, and what to expect

"We serve children ages 18 months through 18 years. Our evaluation takes about 90 minutes and covers articulation, language, and fluency. We accept Cigna, Aetna, and BCBS, and we do offer telehealth for follow-up sessions." Answered at 10:30pm. Before your front desk opens.

3

Parent leaves a name and number — you call back

The parent who would have called three practices and booked the first one that called back leaves a name and number while they're still on your site. You wake up to a named inquiry, ready to call back and schedule. Health details are shared with your staff on the call, not with the chatbot.

The after-hours inquiry problem

Most evaluation inquiries arrive when no one can answer them.

Parents of young children search for speech therapy resources during the hours they finally have time — evenings, early mornings, weekend naps. Your office isn't open. If your site doesn't answer their questions, they're gone before you knew they were there.

A chatbot answers the general first-contact questions — evaluation process, age ranges, insurance plans, telehealth options, what to bring — and takes a name and number while the parent is still engaged. You open to a lead to call back, not a cold voicemail from someone who may have already booked elsewhere.

What the receptionist doesn't do: it doesn't book appointments, quote prices or connect to calendars or CRMs. It takes the caller's details so you can call back.

Not HIPAA-compliant:Front Office doesn't sign Business Associate Agreements, so the chat and receptionist must not be used to collect patient health information. They're for general questions like hours, location, services and which plans you accept, and for taking a name and number for a call back.

Cancelling and refunds:cancel any time and you aren't billed again; there are no partial-month refunds. The setup fee is returned only if you cancel before you submit the intake form. If we don't deliver what the terms describe, tell us within 30 days of the charge and we fix it, or refund the affected charge if we can't. Read the refund policy and plan terms before you buy.

Questions speech therapy practices ask us.

What speech concerns does the chatbot address?

We train the chatbot on the services you list, such as articulation, language, stuttering and fluency, social communication and AAC. It answers general questions about what you evaluate, without giving a clinical opinion, and it takes a name and number so your staff can call back. It should not be used to collect a child's symptoms or health history.

Can it handle insurance and billing questions?

Yes. You tell us the insurance plans you accept and the chatbot answers which plans you take. It does not collect member IDs or verify benefits; for number of covered visits or deductibles, parents are directed to your billing team.

Will the chatbot explain the evaluation process to parents?

Yes, and this is one of the highest-value things it does. Parents are often anxious about what a speech evaluation involves. The chatbot walks them through what to expect — how long it takes, who conducts it, whether the child will be uncomfortable, what the report looks like, and how you communicate results. Informed parents show up with fewer barriers.

Do you support telehealth availability questions?

Yes. If you offer telehealth for evaluations, follow-up sessions, or certain service types, tell us and the chatbot answers accordingly. Parents increasingly ask about telehealth options before committing — the chatbot answers the question instead of requiring a callback.

Is this HIPAA-compliant, and what does it cost?

No. Front Office isn't HIPAA-compliant and we don't sign Business Associate Agreements, so the chat and receptionist must not be used to collect patient health information. They answer general questions (hours, location, services, which plans you accept) and take a name and number so your staff can call back. No contract. One plan, Front Office: $297 one-time setup, then $99/month for the website, $179 with the AI chat, or $249 with the AI receptionist too (300 answered minutes a month, no overage fees). Month-to-month, cancel any time.

Visitor: I run an HVAC company. A customer calls at 9pm and I can't pick up — what happens?

Anchor Co AI: Right now? They hit voicemail and you've lost them to whoever picks up first. With our chatbot, they hit your website at 9pm, ask “Do you do emergency service?” or “Are you licensed in my county?” — and get an instant answer. The bot captures their name, number, and address. You wake up to a lead instead of a missed call. That's the whole thing: your customers get answers 24/7, you only deal with the calls that actually need you, and you're not losing jobs to competitors who answer faster. Since you're in HVAC, the bot can handle all the common questions — licensing by county, service area, whether you do emergency calls, minimum job size, how long estimates take. You train it on your website in about 10 minutes, and it goes live in an afternoon. Want to try it? You can start free at anchorcoai.com/signup — no credit card required. Test it on your actual website for 14 days and see if it captures leads you would've missed.

Visitor: Will it make stuff up about my business?

Anchor Co AI: No. The bot only answers from what you've given it — your website content, your FAQs, pricing, service areas, whatever you add. If a question falls outside that (something the bot doesn't know), it's honest about it. Instead of guessing, it says “I don't have that info” and asks for their name and contact details so you can follow up personally. It won't make up licensing claims, pricing, or service details. That's the safeguard. Your bot is only as smart as the information you feed it — which means you stay in control of what it says about your business. Honestly the easiest way to see if it works for your business is to just try it. Free plan, no card. anchorcoai.com/signup
